Educational Visits

MCStudio trips – National and International

We pride ourselves on the wide variety of educational activities we provide for our students.
All visits are linked to the curriculum our students follow. We do have celebration events every term rewarding our students for their overall commitment and drive to courses they are studying

Manchester Creative Studio has an extensive educational visit program which is directly linked to our Vision and Ethos

“I have loved this day its has been so good to see how
Graphics works in a real business!”

Manchester Creative Studio has a wide range of educational visits planned across a wide range of subjects and themes. Our extensive industry partner relationships mean that our students have the opportunity to visit local businesses, universities and galleries/museums to extend their learning beyond the classroom

We are designed to nurture local talent and support them in to
high calibre and high earning careers in the creative and digital industries”

Every visit we organise will

  • Improve academic achievement and personal development
  • Cement industry relationships and build links for student work placements
  • Provide first-hand experience, giving the students opportunities to translate theoretical curriculum aims and industry framework skills and concepts into practice
  • Allow students to learn from “real life work related learning” and recognise the relevance of classroom-based learning
  • Stimulate, inspire and motivate
  • Put demands upon students to become active independent learners as evidence is observed, collected, recorded, classified, quantified and evaluated in a range of environments
  • Give students a realistic understanding and appreciation of the need for safe practice
  • Challenge students in new situations, to achieve new goals
  • Provide opportunities for informal learning through recreational leisure time experiences

During this year our students have worked alongside industry professionals in their own workplace developing valuable work related skills. We have taken our students to Paris on a Media/Graphics visit, London visit to Buckingham palace, Chester Zoo field trip, Manchester Art gallery and museum, On site photo-shoots in local venues and much more

We are also committed to developing positive working relationships with schools abroad and our principal Pete is developing a connection with a school in China with a view to visiting in the near future
