Foundation Subjects

In Key Stage 4 , students study subjects across all three MCStudio pathways covering; Computer Science, Interactive Media and Graphic Design



The GCSE provides students with the fundamental principles and concepts of computer science, including: abstraction, decomposition, logic, algorithms, and data representation



During this two year course, students will create a portfolio unit of work comprising of 3 projects, which is worth 60% of the overall grade



The course consists of 4 units. 3/4 units are internally assessed and moderated by OCR with 1 unit externally assessed in a hour exam. The final unit is marked as a piece of coursework


Applied Art & Design GCSE

The Applied Art & Design GCSE provides students with opportunities to develop personal responses to ideas, observations in practical, critical and contextual forms



GCSE History is an open and enabling course which suits students who enjoy the freedom of working in many different media using a wide variety of historical sources
